Engku Aman is a homegrown brand with Yemeni roots. Yemeni traders and scholars from the Hadhramaut region of Yemen traveled across the Indian Ocean into South East Asia around the mid- 18th century. Since then, they have influenced the region through trade and religious education and integrated into countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.
Engku Aman is a proud representation of that journey. A resilient legacy that blends Arab and South East Asian cultures by bringing the flavours of Yemen to Southeast Asia as our forefathers did and beyond.
